First off, I'm sorry to all of you who have been waiting for me to update. Yes, I am a slacker. And then I had some good and not so good pictures to blog about, and some little child ( I'm not sure who) got a hold of my camera and accidentally deleted all my pictures of the past 3 months. It took me a while to get over it. But I finally did and here I am.Life has been crazy busy. I don't know how my Mom did it with 8 kids. My business has been great! (which adds to the crazy busy) Kids have been sick on and off, I got sick for about a week (worse then I can remember), Kylie just got over strep, Kensley was REALLY sick for a week at the end of last month, blah blah blah. And from what I understand it's been that way for most folks out there!
As for my most recent craziness with other crazies in between, Kensley ended up in Urgent Care yesterday afternoon. I went to Jen's house to run on the treadmill (still trying to get ready for my half marathon) and not 3 minutes into it I hear a piercing scream. I turn around to find that Kensley (who is a year and a half) had her hand stuck underneath the back of the treadmill. I ripped the key out, jumped off and had to pry her pour little hand out from the tread and the rest of the machine. (one of those moments where you really don't want to look at the wound, I had to remind myself to breathe)
And so to spare you all a long blog, Kensley is doing well. She is a trooper and very brave. We took her in and got her all bandaged up. It's basically a 2nd degree burn. Here are some pictures, BEWARE. These were taken the day after. mother of the year

Kirstin, it's been way too long. But I got your blog from Michelle's and just wanted to say hi! That looks like it hurts... poor little one. Good thing kids forget these things. :) Hope we can stay in touch.
Oh my goodess! I am so sorry Kirs. I hope she is okay.
Things like this happen to the best mom's in the whole world! You are, and always have been one of the "mom's of the year" that I've always looked up too.
Hang in there! Love you forever.
Well she's a cute gimp. Hahaha We love her and it could have been waaaaay worse, right?
Poor girl!! That looks so painful! It is a good thing that kids are so resilient. Let's play soon!
I wasn't prepared for that! I was just eating a little lunch and almost threw it up when I saw those pics. I am not good with things like that. I think you are mother of the year for handling it so well. I miss you! Chris is in Oregon right now and I am wishing I was there to hang out with you!
